Tactical Labs is honored to announce Brett Jackson as our Co-Founding Chief Operating Officer (COO). A decorated Special Operations Commander with over 25 years of distinguished service, Brett brings elite leadership, operational precision, and mission-first execution to our founding executive team.
Brett’s distinguished military career includes commanding roles within the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) — the legendary “Night Stalkers.” As a leader in one of the most elite aviation units in the world, he directed complex, high-risk missions supporting U.S. and allied special operations forces across multiple global theaters. His tenure included leadership in joint mission planning, advanced aviation integration, and defense innovation, shaping capabilities that continue to influence U.S. military operations today.
As Co-Founding COO, Brett will oversee Tactical Labs’ daily operations, ensuring our advanced manufacturing, engineering, and R&D programs deliver with the precision and reliability our defense and aerospace partners demand. His operational discipline and deep understanding of mission success will be pivotal as Tactical Labs scales its national impact.
“Brett was my first company commander — and even then, I saw firsthand the leadership, integrity, and strategic genius that defined his command,” said Joshua Griffin, CEO and Co-Founder of Tactical Labs.
“He has always led with vision and humility, inspiring those around him to perform beyond expectations. Having him join as a co-founding member and my operational counterpart is an honor — and together, we’re building Tactical Labs to redefine what mission-ready innovation looks like.”
We’re proud to welcome Brett to the Tactical Labs leadership team and look forward to the clarity, discipline, and mission excellence he brings to our future.
